Trepidation in Choosing a BIKE
by: Maricon Williams
Choosing and purchasing a bike is no easy matter. You will be first entangled to lots of choice making it harder for you to choose. There are a lot of influences from persons close to you as well as from a pool of authority people. Each of them is offering a good bike but how are you to choose?
When I purchased my second bike, I was given a long-list of selection. From my own search diligence, I have read several reviews and road tests. In connection with my environment, vast advice kept on coming. Advises from my friends, acquaintances, co-workers, relatives and riders are overwhelming.
There are those who are solid to Harley Road King. For them, it is important that your bike’s tank has the Harley-Davidson’s stamped legacy. Others go for Suzuki while others are for Yamaha. There are those who are more on the performance aspect. They are considering a bike which can still comfort even during hard times. These bikes must also be powerful and well-defined.

Top 2 Reasons Why Auto Transport has Become Big Business. Fast.
by: Linda Harrison
Is it me or am I the only one who was oblivious to the auto transport industry before 5 years ago? It appears to me that there are auto transport companies popping up all over the US, seemingly overnight. Where was this industry 10 years ago. In fact, I only first heard the term ‘auto transport’ about 5 years ago. There are a few reasons for this phenomenon. Not surprisingly, this has to do with the internet. What most people don’t understand about the web is that it has spawned entire new cottage industries that just weren’t all that big a decade ago. The auto transport business is a prime example of an industry like that has been rapidly tranformed (or ‘put on steroids,’ as a lot of my more colorful friends would say) by the web. Here are the two reasons why auto transport has taken off.

It’s time to start spending your hard earned dollars on a valuable new vehicle purchase. But, how do you know you are paying the right value for your car? It’s important to remember when trying to look into the future that a new car depreciates 20% of its value as soon as you drive it off the lot.
New car pricing can be difficult if you are looking with foresight into the future, and each consumer guide will quote you various prices on the same make and models of cars. You can keep it, sell it or trade it in. You will receive the best price for your car if you sell it yourself, but it requires a lot of work on your part. You can visit the following web sites for some help.
The above web sites help you research the prices and give you an idea for how much your car is worth. Once you know the value of your car, you can place an ad in your local newspaper, or on the Internet. Some popular web sites that you can sell your car on are:
Make sure that you have the car cleaned and detailed by a detail shop. The $75 or $100 detailing can only help in bringing a higher value for your car.
If you don’t have the time and need to get rid of your car immediately you can trade it in and have the dealership offer you the wholesale price. Keep in mind that the dealer needs to perform any necessary cleaning or repairs on your used car before selling it at a profit.

Tips On Tires
by: Ali Moazami
Tire safety is very important. Here are some regular checks that you can perform on your tires to insure your safety:
Lumps or swelling. Any lumps or swelling that appears on the sidewall are signs of tire weakness. If not attended to, it can lead to tire blow out.
Irregular tread wear must be checked out immediately. One of the best ways to check your tread depth is to do a “Penny Test”. Stick a penny into a tire groove by turning it upside down. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, it’s time to get new tires. You might want to check several tire grooves to determine whether one part of the tire is wearing faster than another. Inspect the sidewalls for any bulges, that indicate internal problems. Also, if you see any wires anywhere, it’s not safe to drive, as the tire might explode at any moment.
Sidewall fractures.
Tires should be rotated every 6,000 miles.
Balance your tires regularly.
Buy and install tires in sets.
Keep the steering and suspension aligned properly.

How To Avoid Getting A Ticket?
by: Ali Moazami
There are many steps that you can take to avoid a ticket. Here are some:
Keep your eye on your driving record just like your credit report. Some states charge $5 for it. It’s worth it.
If you have a broken headlight, taped over taillight or a missing front license plate you are asking for a ticket. It only costs less than $3 to fix your lights or a couple of minutes to have to plates installed. It will save you money in the long run.
Don’t buy that sports car in red. Flashy colors attract cops. Don’t give them an excuse.
Go with the flow of traffic. Don’t lead.
Be aware of your surroundings. Lookout for patrol cars that might be hiding. If you are not familiar with the roads, don’t speed.
Here is what to do if you get pull over:
Don’t run your mouth off. Be polite. Cops hate rude people.
Deny, deny, deny. Don’t admit anything.

Helpful Car Buying Tips
by: Matthew C. Keegan
Purchasing a new vehicle is a stressful chore for many people. Ask the average person what they dread most and they will tell you that “price haggling” is the worst aspect of negotiating a price. Few people come away from the deal believing that they got a fair shake; a significant minority will admit that they got ripped off if you press the issue with them. Besides shopping at a “no haggle” dealer - Saturn, for example - how can you avoid an unpleasant experience? Better put, can you? Let’s take a look at some ways you can gain better control over the car buying experience so that you can save yourself some time, money, and a whole lot of aggravation.
Stay away from the hot sellers. Many Japanese brands are sold at full price and bargains are hard to come by. Still, if you do a little bit of research you should be able to shave several hundred dollars off of the sticker price or secure a very low loan rate should you choose to finance your vehicle. If your dealer doesn’t want to deal with you, go to another Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc. dealer to find a better deal.

Nissan’s Pending Up Market Push
by: Matthew C. Keegan
The Nissan Motor Company is quietly working on a campaign to overhaul their car line up. Current models, including the Maxima, Altima, and Sentra, soon will be transformed into more luxurious and expensive models while a new car line, the Versa, is welcomed into the fold and sold as the automaker’s introductory model. So, why this change for Nissan? Will the automaker’s plans succeed or fail? A lot is hinging on this move by Nissan, perhaps more than meets the eye.
The Nissan motor division has been a good performer in the highly competitive US auto market. With the transformation of the make’s name from Datsun to Nissan in the early 1980s to the introduction of a luxury line, Infiniti, in the late 1980s, the Nissan Motor Company has benefited financially and its customers have been receptive to the changes. Still, Nissan’s line is a perennial third place finisher among Japanese automakers in the lucrative U.S. auto market, easily being outperformed and outsold by Toyota and Honda year in and year out.
The pending changes for Nissan’s line up are coming about and for the following reasons:

Cold Air Intakes from Volant Intakes That Improve Both Power and Efficiency, Who Could Ask for More?
by: Vince Blackham
How can you give your engine more power and still save at the gas pump? The name is Volant, you can find them at www.premiumturbos.com, and their cool air intakes can give you an increase of 12-18 horsepower plus greater fuel efficiency.
Not all intake systems are the same. Volant Cool Air Intakes have a different approach to making power. Volant seals a high-flow air filter in a box, which eliminates any chance of hot air contaminating the intake charge to the engine. Volant’s quality of components is extremely high and every system includes stainless steel hardware and high-temperature silicone sleeves that don’t flex or distort
“When I installed a Volant Cool Air Intake on my 1999 Subaru, the increased power was noticeable right away and if I drive sanely I seem to be getting about 2 miles per gallon better gas mileage. Thank you for making a great product that actually does what you say it will.” wrote Ben DeVoe, a satisfied customer.
