Light Your World With Xenon Headlamps!
by: Matthew C. Keegan
Lighting has certainly changed over the years…for cars, that is! No longer do drivers have to rely on halogen headlights as Xenon lighting is coming into vogue. Nor do owners have to go with stock tail lights, as European [or Altezza] lights are in fashion. Even fog lights have come a long way, baby! Let’s take a look at the newest kid on the block, Xenon headlamps, and how they can light up your world of driving.
If you could have a set of headlamps that produced twice the light of Halogen bulbs while expending only half the power, that would be a good thing, right? Yes it certainly would and that is the idea behind Xenon headlamps which are fast gaining acceptance as standard equipment on luxury vehicles from around the world as well as finding their way on certain popular, mass production vehicles too.
A key feature of Xenon headlamp technology is that they produce a clear white light closer to natural daylight, which has been proven to improve driver concentration. Lessened eye strain means that drivers can do what they need to do best: get to where they and their passengers are going, safely and securely.

Ford Focus
by: Terry Jackson
This delectable version of Ford’s Focus debuted recently, and there’s a lot to like.
Under the hood of this Focus ST is a 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine that comes with four valves per cylinder and a turbocharger. It develops 225 horsepower at 6,100 rpm.
But the sick stuff doesn’t stop there.
On board are 18-inch alloy wheels, a three-spoke leather-clad steering wheel, special ST body styling and a large rear spoiler . Inside are Recaro sports seats, black headliner, “submarine”’ lighting, a six-speed close-ratio gearbox, and unique additional instrument pod containing a turbo boost pressure gauge, and oil temperature and pressure dials, all come as standard.
It’s available in Performance Blue, Panther Black, Colorado Red, Sea Grey and an eye-catching Electric Orange.
The spirit of this Focus is the World Rally Championship models from years past, including the Ford Escort XR3 and the RS Turbo.
Ford says that this model is the most powerful Focus ever offered from the factory.
Want one?
Well, for now, you must be living in England and have about $30,000.
Let’s hope that Ford execs in Detroit find the cojones to bring this bad boy stateside.

by: David Maillie
With the rising price of gas, skyrocketing health care costs, etc… Americans are feeling the economic crunch. Lets put some money back in your pocket right now and lets take a bite out of auto theft.
The best part is
(1) You don’t have to switch insurance carriers.
(2) Local auto dealers charge $299-$499 for this same service (real price should be $25-$30)- What a ripoff! (Note dealers also charge $200-$1000 for replacement headlights when you can buy headlight cleaner and restorer for under $20).
(3) You can easily purchase it direct from the manufacturer below cost right through the internet!
Police departments, insurance companies, AAA Auto Club, Motor Week, Speedvision TV, and leading consumer groups and publications all recommend window etching as a strong theft deterrent and a great investment.

Choosing the Right Tonneau Cover for Your Truck
by: Ryan Heath
Tonneau covers have become the big craze these days, and for good reason. Truck bed covers give you the option of having the extra storage space your truck provides, while maintaining the look of a sharp truck. In addition, tonneau covers have actually been proven to increase gas mileage while protecting your possession from the elements. These features have made them among the most popular automotive products available today.
However, with increase in demand has come increase in production. There are now hundreds of available tonneau covers for all kinds of trucks. With so many options, it can be hard to find the right tonneau cover for your truck. When this situation arises, I normally recommend that a customer look at the different categories of tonneau covers available, and make a decision based on which category of tonneau cover will best fit their needs.
There are basically six categories of tonneau covers, ranging in price, ease of use and installation, protection capability and durability. These categories are hard top tonneaus, soft roll up tonneaus, hinged tonneaus, retractable or roll top tonneaus, tool box tonneaus, and cross bow tonneaus. Read the sections below to find out which is best for you and your truck.

Taking Care of Your Car’s Battery
by: Matthew C. Keegan
Every car comes with one, but some motorists act as if this particular component is completely maintenance free. What am I talking about? Your car’s battery. Technological advances have made “maintenance free” batteries standard equipment on virtually every vehicle produced today. However, the term “maintenance free” is a misnomer, one that can leave you stranded if you do not perform proper and regular maintenance. Battery maintenance isn’t difficult to do, so let’s take a look at what you can do to keep your car running.
Before discussing battery maintenance, please make sure that your battery is, in fact, the sealed type. If it isn’t, then the “maintenance free” label certainly does not apply and you will need to add water on a regular basis. Unsealed batteries are easy to spot as they have small vent caps on top of the battery which can be twisted open. You will need to periodically add distilled water to maintain water levels; more so in the summer months as water tends to evaporate quicker. Do not let your battery run low or run out of water as the battery’s cells can be ruined.

Are you looking for natural alternatives to help you deal with the pain that you face doing everyday tasks? If the answers to these questions are yes, then the following tips for relieving rheumatoid arthritis are just what you have been waiting for.
1- The most important thing that anyone can do for their bodies is to exercise. This includes those who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis as well. However, not every exercise is suitable for sufferers of arthritis pain. The exercises that are done need to be good for the muscle, while not being damaging for the joints. A great exercise for those who are living with rheumatoid arthritis, in fact for everyone, is walking. Walking is a good low impact activity that does not put unneeded pressure on the joints. Other alternatives to walking are biking or walking in a pool.
Truck Parts Are In The Eye Of The Beholder

Truck Parts Are In The Eye Of The Beholder
by: Chris Casarez
In the performance parts industry, people tend to use the words parts and accessories interchangeably, while others see a difference. So what’s the difference, for example, between truck parts and truck accessories if many of them serve the same basic function? It depends on who you ask.
Because the words parts and accessories each encompass a large number of products that overlap and can therefore be categorized as either, people tend to the use the words interchangeably without any regard to the difference. In reality, when dealing with the performance parts industry, the word only overlaps in certain instances, and even then opinions will vary as to which factors apply. Truck parts and truck accessories each have their own list of included products, which ‘meet in the middle’ depending on their intended use, as well as their categorization as an OEM or aftermarket product.

Avoiding Disaster: Choosing the Right Auto Insurance Company
by: Auto Insurance Spot
A great deal is at stake when choosing an auto insurance
carrier. In addition to the financial considerations,
there are issues such as reliability, quality of service,
and integrity. Luckily, there are certain steps you can
follow to ensure that you select an auto insurance company
that will meet your needs.
When choosing an insurance carrier, reputation carries a
great deal of weight. For instance, Allstate, Nationwide,
and State Farm are well-known companies that have managed
to hold onto some clients for years. For additional
guidance, you can consult your state’s department of
insurance website. The website might offer consumer
complaint ratios which indicate exactly how many complaints
an auto insurance company has received for every 1,000
claims filed. This information can help you to better
evaluate companies so that you have some idea how their
customer service rates. You can then compare the list of
companies with low complaint ratios with the list of
companies with low premiums and see if you can come up with
